Meyminatou's story

Mrs Meyminatou is 45 years old and lives in Senegal. For the past five years she has been selling breakfasts as well as wax and thioup fabrics. In addition, she sews and knits. She learnt these skills in a training center for sewing and knitting. She particularly likes the creativity, the beauty and the financial spin-offs of her activity. She has been a member of one of the branches of the microfinance institution U-IMCEC since April 2011. She applies for a loan of 200,000 CFA francs to buy clothes and mobile phones for resale. She wants to travel to Mauritania to get them. She intends to further diversify her inventory in order to better develop her business activity.
