Jovita's story

This member belongs to the “AMANECER ANTEÑA” communal bank. The bank is located in the district of Anta, which is part of Anta province, in Cusco department. The member is Señora Jovita; she is 48 years old and is married with four children. The member combines her daily activities with her businesses of a grocery store and also a bakery. The member sells everyday products such as rice, sugar, and milk among other products, and the her husband manages the bakery. The member works from 6 a.m. till 6 p.m., and by means of these businesses the member has been able to move her children ahead in life. The member would like to expand her grocery store business and her bakery business. She is requesting the loan to buy products such as rice, sugar, milk and noodles, and also supplies for baking bread such as flour, butter, and sugar. The member is happy about the loan and agrees to comply with the repayments.
