A loan of $450 helped to buy work-tools and a foot-massage machine.

Liseth's story

At 28 years old and a mother of two, Liseth is an enterprising woman who wakes up every morning with the desire to move her children ahead in life. She works from home providing manicures and pedicures to her neighbors and acquaintances. She has been doing this work for the last eight years, and feels lucky to have a business where she can also take care of her children. She dreams of having a beauty salon to provide her with more financial stability, and as she is working little by little towards her dream, she would like to buy more work-tools to improve her service; for example, nail varnishes, and means of organizing them. She would also like to buy a foot-massage machine but she doesn't have the capital to make these purchases. This is why she is requesting a loan which will allow her to continue to make progress, improve her service, and keep her customers satisfied. Her income will also grow, and her quality of life will improve noticeably.
