A loan of $750 helped to buy clothes (pants, polo shirts, blouses).

Jessica's story

Jessica is a member of the Productive Women village bank in the district of Manantay, department of Ucayali. She is 22 and single. She is a hardworking young woman who, being single, wants to have her own business. It's still small, but will grow with time because every loan that she takes out is invested in her business selling clothes. For now she only sells to her friends, but she hopes to sell to more people later on.

With this new loan of 2,000 nuevos soles she will buy: 1 dozen pants, 2 dozen polo shirts, 1 dozen blouses, 1/2 dozen men's shorts, 1/2 dozen tank tops, 1/2 dozen kid's t-shirts.

She isn't buying very much right now and doesn't have a lot of capital, but it's working well for her. Thanks to Manuela Ramos for the opportunity to give her the requested loan to invest in her business.
