Arise And Shine Group's story

Simbarashe lives in Masvingo. He is 37 years old, married and has four children who are 3, 5, 8 and 10 years old. Two of his children are attending school. Simbarashe is a carpenter. He makes coffins, wardrobes and kitchen units. He has been in this business for 10 years. The challenge he faces is that when clients are financially constrained, they normally concentrate on food and rarely buy furniture. The amount of USD 400 he has applied for is going towards the purchase of timber. With extra income obtained from his business, Simbarashe will buy food and pay school fees for his children. In the near future, Simbarashe plans to open a hardware shop.
