Ruben is a 40-year-old married man with a 7-year-old child.
He is a farmer working in Surallah, South Cotabato. Ruben plants rice on his land and sells his harvest to traders in his town. Ruben also raises pigs in his backyard.
Ruben has requested a loan to purchase feed, fertilizers, seeds and other farm inputs. He hopes to have a stable income to sustain his family and his child's education.
