Mrs. Chea S., 42, works with her husband on their rice paddy growing rice and various kinds of vegetables, making collectively about $5 each day from selling their output. One of her children is employed by a nearby garment factory and one is a student. Mrs. Chea S. and her husband would like to request a loan to purchase a large quantity of peppers from the growers and resell them for a profit, and the leftover of the money is to buy more seeds and fertilizer for their crop expansion.
