A loan of $375 helped to buy screens to use as traps.

Antonia's story

Antonia is 53 years old, a native of the city Santa Rosa, and considers herself a hard-working woman. She lives in her own home with her husband and their three beloved children to whom she wishes to give a better quality of life. Agriculture is an activity that her family has practiced for much time. Today she continues this family tradition, and accompanied by her husband, they work their land so that each time it is more fertile. The products they sow are cacao and coffee as they have the greatest demand in the market. As such she must try to take care of her plants from the plague of insects that could harm them as this could greatly reduce their earnings. Also she must transport her products to the city of San Francisco as it's there where they're commercialized. This will be her second loan with MFP, and up until now she has been very punctual with her previous payments which is why they wish to continue supporting her. With the 1,000 soles, she will buy traps or lengths of screens to prevent insects from harming her plants.
