Kifah is a 41-year-old married man living with his wife and four children. He has built good experience working in floor covering for the past 10 years. And in 2004, he started working independently, taking private projects. This man represents the main income provider of his family.
Today, he is requesting to borrow $1,000 from Kiva partner Ameen s.a.l to increase his business capital and invest in purchasing a new engine for his car in order to facilitate his transportation to projects where he works. In the future, he plans to further expand his business.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
