A loan of $2,125 helped a member to buy animals for raising and then selling, and to buy feed for them.

La Amistad Group's story

The group named "La Amistad" ("Friendship"), is from the city of Santaní. It has 13 women as members, all of whom are friends and neighbors in this city. They came together with the plan of looking for better income for their families and children. They want to be able to give them a better life, and this is why they strive on a daily basis.

One of the members is Señora Elida. She works raising and then selling animals. She tells us that this is not an easy task as it requires a lot of physical effort, but in spite of this she really enjoys what she does. She would like to be able to continue with this work and be able to grow her business further.

She is requesting the loan for the purchase of animals to raise, and also to buy feed for them.

She has placed her hope in this loan, as having it will be a great help to her.
