Fermina's story

Fermina is a member of the "San Bartolomé de Tambo Real" community bank which is located in Anta district, in Anta province, in Cusco department.

Fermina is 60 years old, married, and has six children. She divides her time between her daily activities and her business selling milk and livestock, and raising animals such as guinea pigs. She sells her milk, guinea pigs and livestock in the different street markets in Anta district. Through these small businesses, she gets her children ahead in life. Fermina would like to expand and improve her business selling milk, guinea pigs and livestock. She is requesting this loan to buy guinea pigs, milk and livestock.

Fermina is happy to be receiving this loan and pledges to make her repayments on time.
