Kim, 61, resides with her husband and a child in Kampong Chnang province, Cambodia, an area known for palm products. Kim is employed at a garment factory, earning an income of USD 3 per day. Her child is employed at the factory as well to earn money for the family. Each month, the family has to spend USD 40 on food and USD 20 on the other necessary expenses. Kim is requesting a loan of USD 800 to purchase a motorbike to commute to work. This will be her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner.
