Aigul's Group's story

Aigul is the leader of this group. She is 47 and unfortunately she is a widow. She is bringing up a daughter and two sons; the younger son studies at school and the other children are at university. In order to earn money for their livelihood, Aigul sells fruits and vegetables. She started this activity eleven years ago with an initial investment of 3000 soms and at the moment her monthly profit is 6000 soms per month.

With money received from the loan, she wants to purchase more fruit and vegetables to sell. Aigul will use some part of the loan to pay her daughter’s tuition at university. In the future she wants to give her children a good education and wishes to build a new house.
