A loan of $3,750 helped a member to buy bread making supplies like oil, flour, lard, and firewood, etc..

Azucenas Group's story

Demetria belongs to the Azucenas (Lilies) group. They chose this name because “azucena” is a very pretty flower, and the group is comprised of all women. That is the reason they selected this name. She is 36 years old, married, and has six children. Five of the children are dependent upon her. Víctor is in high school, Oswaldo and Jorge are in middle school, and Yeimi and Diego are in elementary school. Her husband, Alfonso, is a bricklayer.

She has a small business selling bread, and she has gotten ahead in her business. She hopes that with the help of the loan it will go on growing a bit more. She will use the loan to buy bread making supplies like oil, flour, lard, and firewood, etc. She has a big goal of making her business grow and converting it to a bakery in order to give her customers good service. She belongs to the Azucenas group, which is comprised of 12 members mentioned below.
