A loan of $925 helped to advertise and to buy fabric and thread.

Theolith's story

Theolith is 58 years old and is a member of the communal bank "Mujeres Valerosas II" of the Tarapoto district in the department of San Martín. She is married with a daughter, and 1 adult child.

She makes and sews clothing. At first she worked in a store, but because of bad treatment she decided to begin her own business. She has been doing this for more than 30 years, and has a steady clientele, and they recommend her services to others. Nonetheless she wants to grow and have a very large store.

She wants to use this loan of $925 in part for advertising and partly to purchase fabric and thread for making clothes. She tells us that she likes the things they talk about at the meetings. She says that she didn’t know before about good customer service. She is very happy, and thanks to the loans her business has grown.
