Omar Abel's story

Señor Omar Abel sells various products such as: controls for televisions and sound systems, electric extensions, sockets, nail clippers, tooth paste, flashlights, batteries, prestobarbas (3-blade razors), locks, mirrors, scissors etc. He is a street vendor in the city of San Lorenzo. He also travels by bus to the Honduras-El Salvador border to sell his products. Omar lives with his wife and 4 children, two of which go to the local school.

Omar will use the loan to buy merchandise and so have a more extensive inventory of products. His customers are people who travel from el Salvador to Honduras and vice versa.

His dream is to have a permanent location to sell his products and not have to travel every day.
