A loan of $400 helped to buy purchases for her store.

Maria Isabel's story

Isabel is 20 years old. She is single, without children. She lives with her parents and has a grocery store.

She started her grocery business because of an urge to help her parents with the household expenses. She always has her eye on them and takes care of them because they are older.

She has had her business about 4 years. She sells fruit, vegetables, soap, oil, milk, toilet paper, sweets, eggs, soft drinks and other items. She tells us that she is asking for a loan in order to continue investing in the business by keeping it well stocked.

She opens the stores every day at 7:00 AM, shutting it to eat, and she sometimes closes the store as late in the evening as 9:00 PM. Sometimes her parents chat with her and help her take care of the store.

She is very happy about the loan, which will help her business to grow more rapidly.
