Cirilo's story

Señor Cirilo is 65 years old, he is married to Señora Patrocinia who is a retired teacher and they have two grown-up, financially independent daughters. They live in a well known neighborhood in the city of Itá. They have a store in their home where they provide their neighbors and drop-in customers with milk, other drinks, sugar, rice, herbs, meat, salt, baked goods, coal and other basic necessities. They also sell books, stationary and gifts.

Before starting this business Señor Cirilo worked as a clerk in Argentina for a long time. He maintains that this helped his family to become professionals as one of his daughters is a teacher and the other is a professional masseuse and they both help out with the maintenance of the home.

He is requesting the loan to buy sugar, rice, herbs, meat, salt, baked goods, coal and other supplies to stock his shop.
