A loan of $925 helped to purchase seeds and hire farm workers.

Zoila's story

Zoila, 57 years old, is a happy, friendly, and very enthusiastic woman. She is a mother, but is separated from her husband. She has five children, and only one still lives with her, so she is responsible for his care and education. Zoila owns the house they live in.

She does agricultural work; since she was very young she worked her farm to cultivate, water and plow the land and care for her plants. For 30 years she has done this, and through this work she educated her children. Now she is passing on all this agrarian knowledge by teaching her youngest son. After he comes back from school he is going to help her and learn the family business. She hopes to be able to get by this way and later begin with another planting season.

This will be loan number 16 for her with MFP, and she awaits the help of all of you so she can keep on growing and strengthening her business. With the requested amount, she will buy seeds and hire farm workers to plow the land for the next planting.
