A loan of $1,200 helped to buy various women's and men's clothes in order for her sales to continue growing.

Ana Maria's story

Ana Maria sells clothes and cosmetics, and she has been in sales for 14 years. She is a single mother, and she has two grown children. They help her financially. She makes her sales at a market in the capital. She rents a unit, and she has managed to get customers because of her variety and fashion for young people. She has been working with the institution for four cycles. During that time she has increased her capital, her sales, and her profits. She is very happy about her growth because she has her payment commitments and her personal expenses. With this new loan she will buy men’s and women’s pants, shorts, shirts, blouses, camisoles, skirts, and dresses by the dozens. She orders this merchandise in Guatemala as she can make her purchases for a better price there. This gives her customers accessible prices.
