A loan of $450 helped to buy fabric to use in her seamstress shop.

Ramona's story

Romana, age 51, is married to Luciana and has three adult children. One of her daughters had to leave to work abroad. That was able to help her start her seamstress shop. She started taking private custom orders. Then she visited offices, and her customers recommend her to other people. She now has an established clientele.

She also makes uniforms for a school and the uniforms for the teachers. She defines herself as a tenacious and very hard-working woman. She loves what she does, and she is grateful to always have a lot of orders and work.

She needs the loan to buy bundles of fabric in order to take advantage of an offer that has presented itself to her. She now needs to start making clothes for this spring season that is starting.

She yearns for her daughter to be able to come back to Paraguay and to be together again.
