A loan of $425 helped to buy tomatoes, chillies, onions, potatoes, chayote, and corn.

Sabina Del Carmen's story

Sabina sells tortillas and vegetables for a living. She lives with her husband and three children, all of whom are adults. As her source of income, Sabina has her business in the local market. It has been there for 20 years, so she has experience.

Currently, she will buy vegetables, such as tomatoes, chillies, onions, potatoes, chayote, and also corn for tortillas. The investment will help her expand her business' merchandise, allowing her to get fresh fruit to offer her customers.

Her goal is that her business, through financing, will be able to improve and attract more customers. That would allow her to be more cost-effective and to earn more to cover her household expenses.
