Théogène is a member of Abunzuwumbe A / Rusizi Group, which means "uniting people". He was born in Rwanda. He is married and the father of six children, aged 3 to 18. Three of his children attend school. He attended elementary school until fourth grade.

Théogène is a rice farmer. This is his second loan cycle with ACB. He will use his loan to buy chemical fertilizers and pay for labor to work in his rice field.

His growth strategy consists in early planting, growing an improved rice variety and selling large quantities of rice. In the years to come Théogène would like to become one of the best rice farmers in his valley. He will use his profit to pay school fees for his children.
