A loan of $400 helped to buy milk, bread, sugar, oil, soft drinks and canned goods.

Ma. Rosario's story

María Rosario is 57 years old. She has been married to Gregorio for 42 years. Gregorio has a problem with his ribs and so cannot work. They no longer have any children who are dependent on them. They only had two children and they are now married and live in their own homes.

Rosario has had a grocery store for three years. She will invest her loan in her store, buying bread, milk, eggs, soft drinks, water, candies and canned goods. She will buy products that people in her community need which is all kinds of food. Rosario's hope is that her business will grow because she needs the profits for her husband's treatment for the problem that he has right now. "Thank you very much for the loan. It will help me a lot, especially in stocking my store which was running out of merchandise".
