Burmakan's story

Burmakan is 44 years old, a widow and has three children. Because Burmakan is the only provider for her family, she uses all her efforts to support all of her children's needs. She started her retail business in 1996. Having taken out a loan in the sum of 22,000 som (KGS) in 2005, Burmakan chose to focus on sales of children's clothing and repaid that loan in a timely manner and without delays. To further develop her business, Burmakan went to the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to request a loan in the sum of 70,000 som (KGS). She plans to use the obtained funds to expand her merchandise selection. Burmakan also plans to use part of the income from the loan to make quality repairs to her house.
