Damira's story

Damira is 56 years old, married and raised six children. Damira and her husband started their own animal husbandry business with a starting capital investment of 8,000 som (KGS) in 2001. Today, Damira's business yields about 12,000 som (KGS) per month and has 4 cows, 18 sheep and 3 horses. On weekends, Damira and her husband go to the Kadyr-Ata livestock market, where they resell raised livestock. She also has a retail outlet at the livestock market, where she sells food on Sundays. In order to further develop her business, Damira requested a loan in the sum of 135,000 som (KGS) from the "Bai-Tushum and Partners" company to buy livestock for fattening up. In the future, she dreams of buying a car for her family.
