Lukia is 48 years old and married with fifteen children. Her husband is a hotel attendant. Lukia sells charcoal for a living. She usually earns shs 30,000 in profits each week. With the extra business profits, she intends to buy a plot of land and construct a house for her family. Lazia has a retail shop and wants to use the loan to increase stock. Irene is a poultry farmer while Jane makes and sells snacks.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
