A loan of $500 helped purchase rice, beans, sugar, oil, bread and eggs for her business.

Julia Esperanza's story

Julia lives with a 19 year old daughter and runs a shop offering basic products. She has been running the business for 20 years and it was her own initiative with the support of her husband. The shop is open from 7am to 7pm.
Currently she needs to buy merchandise such as rice, beans, sugar, oil, bread and eggs. This investment will increase her stock and improve her customer service.
Her ambition is for her business to be more profitable every day, to allow her to support herself and afford what her family needs.
