A loan of $2,550 helped a member to buy all kinds of clothes to sell.

Kuña Marangatu Group's story

Ramona got together this current committee. She contacted her neighbors and friends in Ciudad del Este and created the committee called 'Kuña Marangatu'. The group are currently in their fifth loan cycle and have 13 members. This is a group which stands out in their neighborhood for being very united, supportive and responsible. They have a great entrepreneurial and tenacious spirit and would like to be able to continue growing every day.

One of the members of this committee is Evangelista who sells all kinds of clothes. This enables her to support her family. She tells us that she has many customers and so makes very good income. She uses this income to cover her daily household expenses. She has a lot of orders to fill and would also like to be able to update the range of clothes that she has.

Evangelista is requesting this loan to buy all kinds of clothes with which to stock her business. In addition, she would like to fill the orders that her customers make with her.
