Abdurahmon's story

Abdurahmon A. is 30 years old. He is married and has four children; the oldest is ten, and the youngest is only two years old.


Abdurahmon manufactures carved wooden doors, window frames, and partitions in the national oriental style. He has been in this business for 14 years already. Abdurahmon also works 30 hectares of land, where he grows potatoes and carrots. During the planting season, his hardworking family helps him. In spite of his young age, he is recognized as a good workman in his neighborhood. Abdurahmon works hard and dreams of improving the living conditions of his family.
