A loan of $1,475 helped a member purchase five bags of charcoal.

Euridice Conforte's Group's story

The leader of a group of 5 women, Conforte is married and responsible for four children, all of whom are currently being educated in school. She sells bags of charcoal that are delivered to her home in bulk quantities by wholesalers who have approval to sell forest products. Her client base is composed of a multitude of neighboring residents and those living in the surrounding areas. Conforte is currently repaying her first loan from FINADEV and is asking for a loan renewal in order to purchase greater quantities and diversify the types of products she has in order to satisfy her clients. Profits she receives will enable her to improve the living conditions of her family. Her colleagues are also small business owners that work from their homes or small boutiques located near their homes.
