A loan of $450 helped to purchase merchandise for his store.

Joany Arlez's story

At 43 years of age, Joany is considered to be a determined small businessman who has worked to see his four children get ahead. Even though his financial conditions have not been the best, he dreams of providing his family a better future. Joany previously was a merchant in his hometown, but he wanted to travel down a new path with his family so they moved to Itagüí, a town in the Department of Antioquia. He has managed a store for the past six years in order to sustain his family.

Joany dreams of increasing his profits. He knows that he must have more operating capital so that he can restock in larger quantities and obtain the necessary discounts that will help him earn more from his sales. Since he does not have the capital at the moment, he is requesting a loan that will help him take the next step toward his dream of providing his children a better quality of life.
