A loan of $375 helped to buy hogs.

Jazmina's story

Jazmina is 23. She is a young mother who lives with her family and small child in a rented home. She has sold pigs for five years. She gets them when they are small, and once they are big and fat they are ideal for selling in the local livestock market. Jazmina gets up early every morning to feed her animals. She feeds them three times a day in order to get them to the required weight, because the bigger and fatter they are the better the price she gets for them. In the future she wants to sell more hogs, so she will expand her stable in order to be able to fit them all. This is her third loan with MFP and she says that she has had a good experience, as the loans have allowed her to improve her income and stock her business. For this she is very grateful. With the requested loan, she will increase her working capital (buying more hogs).
