A loan of $1,300 helped a member to build a concrete grill.

San Francisco Group's story

San Francisco is a very good and supportive group in its first cycle. Six very hardworking women who are engaged in trade, in order to help and provide for their families, formed it. They meet weekly and are located in the municipality of General Escobedo. They decided on the name of the group because this is the street where most of them live.

Beatriz, a member of the group, is 43 years old and has 5 children, most of them working and happily married, living in the city of General Escobedo, Nuevo León.

Her husband and children suggested that she sell food, at a factory where he works, and neighbors and people she knows also order her food because of its exquisite and delicious flavor.

She just received her first loan not only to improve, but also to increase her sales in her micro-business in order to provide for the family and help her husband with the household expenses. Beatriz is a fighter who wants to succeed and go forward in life. One of her major goals is to build a concrete grill since now she has to cook with firewood, which is a bit difficult and uncomfortable. However, that has not stopped her from getting ahead. With hard work she continues to sell and expand to more locations.

In this group: Beatriz, Brenda Alicia, Denisse Anabell, July Susana, Maria Alejandra, Mayra
