A loan of $1,000 helped to build a house.

Norma's story

Norma is a longtime client of the institution, where she found the staff friendly and courteous during her assessment. She lives in the Villa Esperanza area of the city of El Alto, near La Paz, in the northern part of Bolivia.

Norma lives with her 2 small children to whom she devotes her care and love as a mother. Her mother helps her look after them, when she goes out to sell the carefully made and flavorful food that she prepares.

Due to his work, her husband is in the interior in Santa Cruz department, and he sends money via bank transfer to support his family.

Norma is very hard-working and self-sacrificing when it comes to her children. Her wish is that with her work she will succeed in helping her children have a better future and be able to afford their professional studies. This why she works hard to achieve this day by day, and is so industrious.

She will use the loan to buy construction materials to have a house built, in order to provide greater comfort for her family.
