Luz Marina's story

The member belongs to the Solidaridad-Cachimayo communal bank, located in the district of Cachimayo, in the province of Urubamba, department of Cusco.

Luz Marina, 31, has a live-in partner and a 9-year-old son, and works as a retail merchant. She works with small animals and cattle, and also produces milk, which she takes to different markets and sometimes to the city of Cusco to sell. Among her small animals, she raises guinea pigs, poultry, and pigs. She also sells the milk that her cows produce.
