She was born in December 1962. She is married and a mother of six, two of whom are below fifteen years old. She and her family live at mile 90 Nsongwa, a quarter in Bamenda, in the Mezam Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. Sickness and poverty are the major challenges she has faced in her life.

She joint GHAPE in 2006 and has received, and repaid, Empowerment Credit three times. She intends to invest this loan in her farm and retail business. She will use the loan to buy groundnut, maize seedlings, Rice Beans, firewood and farming tools as well as oil to sell to the final consumers. She believes this business will succeed because she is very hardworking and determined. This business will be of help to the community because it will increase the availability of foodstuffs in her area.

With the proceeds from this loan, she will educate her children, and increase the size of her farm and business. She prefers a GHAPE loan because the interest rates are very low. And the training GHAPE renders to their her clients as well as the social education.

This loan is administered by Grounded and Holistic Approach to People's Empowerment (GHAPE), a non-profit non-government organization based in Bamenda, Cameroon. GHAPE takes a multi-faceted approach in working towards the empowerment of the poor and poverty alleviation. Every client is trained in business management, basic health, life skills, financial management, profits and losses, and family values. Clients are also required to contribute a small amount into a personal savings account; most clients save much more than the minimum requirement. GHAPE instills a sense of family and community among its clients and staff and has developed a strong bond of trust between the organization and its clients.
