A loan of $1,575 helped a member to buy rings, bracelets, chains and other pieces of jewelry.

Genesis Group's story

The communal bank called "Genesis" is made up of 11 women from this area. They meet with the objective of getting higher incomes and benefits, not only for themselves, but also for their families. They are in their first loan cycle in the program, but they would like to be able to grow their businesses each day. Rosa has had a business selling jewelry for a good while now, and she comments that she has a lot of customers who always request a certain type of jewelry. She says that this business generates good earnings, and so she would like to be able to continue with it. One of her dreams is to be able to have a jewelry store where she could offer her varied products for sale.

She requests a loan to buy bracelets, chains, rings and other pieces of jewelry, with which she will be able to continue to grow her business and offer a greater variety of products to her customers. She thanks the Fundación for this opportunity, because getting this loan will help her a lot.
