A loan of $1,150 helped to buy plantains for making plantain chips.

Jonny Manolo's story

Jonny is 35 years old and married, with three children. He started selling dairy products but it didn't workout, so afterwards he decided to sell plantain chips on his own account, starting with 100 bags for packaging and 100 plantains. Little by little his business has grown, and he has been able to buy a motorbike and hire someone to help him out with selling his product. Currently he has six people helping him with production.

With his previous loan, he was able to grow and to buy glass display cases to put in the stores for his product. His dream is to grow and to have greater capital to expand his sales even further and help his family by giving his children a better future.

He is requesting this loan for the purchase of plantains for making plantain chips.
