La A.C. “UNIÓN” iniciará su sexto ciclo en Pro Mujer, como parte del Centro Focal Santiago II, está compuesta por ocho integrantes y está dirigida por una mesa directiva encabezada por la señora Faustina. Los negocios que las integrantes de la asociación comunal llevan adelante son variados entre ellos tenemos: venta de batidos, venta de ropa, venta de verduras, venta de periódicos, venta de carne, confección de deportivos.

La señora Faustina, indica que este es el sexto año que trabaja con Pro Mujer, ingresando por recomendación de su sobrina. En la actualidad ella tiene un negocio de venta de batidos que viene trabajando desde hace seis años, el que aprendió de su hija.

El crédito que ahora sacará es para aumentar su capital (compra de azucar y bicervecina), que comprara de las ferias y lo venderá en los colegios. Esta forma de trabajo le permite generar recursos para apoyar en lo posible a su familia, pues ella es casada y tiene cuatro hijos.

Cuando se le consulta qué le gusta de Pro Mujer, ella responde que le gusta la salud, el crédito y el ahorro.
