A loan of $875 helped buy food, beverages, dairy, and baked goods.

Maria Graciela's story

Maria is from Santaní, single, and has one daughter. She has a small pantry where she works everyday. Her day begins in the early hours everyday. She goes to the market to buy fresh produce to offer her customers.

Her business helps her a lot, as it is known in the neighborhood and has many customers. Her dream is to one day have a small supermarket where she can offer her customers more variety and in this way attract more people. All the effort is for her daughter; to give her a better lifestyle than she herself had. She wants to give her a good education and a decent and dignified life.

She requests the loan to buy food, beverages, dairy, baked goods, and more, which she will stock to meet her customers’ demand. She thanks the Foundation for the opportunity, since getting a loan will help her business a lot.
