A loan of $1,125 helped to buy cattle and sacks of compost.

Ana's story

Ana is a native of the District of Cullpa Alta and currently resides there. Her life has always been spent in the fields since her parents taught her everything about farming and raising livestock since this was and would always be how they earned their living. Thanks to her work, Ana is able to support her children and provide them with an education. Each day is spent raising cows and bulls. She buys these animals as young calves and then feeds them until they reach the exact weight so that they can be sold for a good price. However, the difference is that she holds on to the cows for breeding and milk production. Ana’s wish is to start a small milk production business since she is receiving training on how to do this. In addition to raising cattle, she grows potatoes, corn, wheat, barley, and ulluco. She considers farming to be a job that requires much effort.

This will be the 13th loan that she has requested from MFP. She plans to buy more animals and sacks of compost.
