A loan of $600 helped to buy pigs for her farm.

Mayela Del Carmen's story

Máyela lives with her five children and raises pigs. She started her business with her mother's support. Her mother supported her a lot and now she is able to look after her children and provide for their needs, all as a result of the profits she makes.

Right now, Máyela needs to buy some pigs as she lives off her business. She would like to have a number of pigs in her farm which will allow her to make profits in a couple of months time.

Máyela's goal is to continue working on her farm, to have the support of her children, and to continue in good health so that she is able to work.
