This group has been together for eighteen months. Catherine is 40 years old and a single mother with five children. She owns a small bar and she intends to use the extra business profits to pay school fees for her children. Florence has a bakery and wants to use the loan to buy more flour and other baking ingredients. Margret has a poultry business and Ruth makes and sells bricks.

This is a group loan. The loan funds will be distributed among the group members, each of whom will invest in her own business. The members mutually guarantee one another's loans. If one member does not repay, the other members are responsible.
