A loan of $1,125 helped a member to purchase a refrigerator.

Anara's Group's story

Anara is the leader of this group. She is 49 and, unfortunately, is a widow. She has raised two sons and a daughter. Her older son is a truck driver, her second son studies in the Police Academy, and her daughter is a student. Anara works as a bookkeeper for the Department of Agriculture. She applied for this loan because while she has saved some money from her salary, she needs additional funds to purchase a refrigerator. In the future she wants to see her children get married.
