A loan of $550 helped to buy animals and their feed.

Percy David's story

Percy is 23 years old. He is single, and lives in his parents' home, which has running water and electricity. He lives in the rural area of the Túcume district, which is part of the Lambayeque Department. This area is characterized by its people working in agriculture, livestock, and tourism.

Percy has been working for the last year raising and selling pigs. His farmyard is in the rear of his house, and he feeds them a balanced animal feed. Once they are fully grown to their optimum size, he offers them for sale to his customers, or to the various markets in Chiclayo and Lambayeque, and with the income he earns he is able to cover his personal expenses.

He has requested a loan of 1,500 New Soles from Edpyme Alternativa to buy more animals and their feed, so that they can be well fed and he can offer them for sale to his customers for a better price. His end-goal is to generate more income so he can have a better quality of life.

Percy is a hard-working and very responsible person; the only thing he wants is to get ahead in life, and to continue helping his parents with whatever they need.
