Ramon Apolinar's story

Ramón is a modest farmer. He is 42 years old, has two children, and is from Las Parcelas, a community located in the city of León. He grows corn and sesame. Ramón's level of education is basic. He only studied up to the sixth year of elementary school. The poverty in which he lived did not allow him to continue studying and he started working. He started out growing crops 20 years ago when one of his uncles suggested that he grow corn and sesame. Before this he used to have a grocery store but he decided to devote himself to growing crops instead. He always wants to continue growing crops and increasing the size of his harvests.
