Clara Janet's story

30-year-old Clara is a mother who lives with her daughter in her own home which only has water and electricity. Her house is located in Cayaltí district, in Chiclayo province. This area is noted fro its farming and livestock raising.

Clara sells men's and women's clothes. She set up her business on a stall inside Cayaltí market four years ago. She sells her merchandise to her customers and also sells to order, trying to gain more customer demand so that she can make more income with which to cover her family expenses.

Noting that her business was doing very well, Clara decided that it was necessary to request a loan for 1,500 soles from Edpyme Alternativa in order to buy a larger quantity of merchandise and stock her store with the very latest products. Her aim is to continue increasing her number of customers so that she can repay her loan and improve her family's quality of life.
