A loan of $700 helped to buy a range of creams and lotions.

Maria Elizabeth's story

49-year-old Maria Elizabeth lives in the eastern part of the country, in a semi-urban area, together with her two daughters aged 15 and 8. Her daughters are attending a school near their home. María Elizabeth is a single mother and she has had to be a true warrior to get ahead in life together with her two daughters.

María Elizabeth has been selling beauty products, clothes and handicrafts in her home for years. As she has customers who can't visit her because they are working, she goes to their places of work and makes the most of it, opening opportunities with new customers and visiting residential developments house by house, selling her products. She does all of this with the aim of achieving financial security for her family. People who know her describe her as a responsible and very hard-working person.

María Elizabeth has decided to request a loan from INTEGRAL in order to buy a range of creams and lotions which she will be able to sell on the new commercial routes that she is opening. She hopes that this change will help her to make progress in achieving her dream of creating a better life for her family.
