A loan of $750 helped to purchase more animals and their respective feed.

Zoila's story

Zoila is 46 years old. She lives with her family in a house she owns, which only has electricity. It is located in the rural area of the district of Túcume, which belongs to the department of Lambayeque. This area is known for farming, livestock and tourism. For the past few years, Zoila has been raising and selling corral poultry (ducks). Her corral is located behind her house and it is appropriate and ample. She feeds the animals balanced feed and natural grains so they can reach their ideal growth. That way she can sell them in various local markets and make good profits in order to cover daily expenses in her home. She has requested a loan of 2000 nuevos soles from Edpyme Alternativa to purchase more animals and their respective feed. With the profits she makes, she will be able to pay back the loan and improve her quality of life. Zoila is a hardworking and very responsible person whose only wish is to get ahead in life, together with her family.
